We're Stronger Together

Initiators is a transformational leadership training course for high school youth of all genders. Through hands-on training and experiential learning, participants build confidence and gain practical skills they can use in school, community, and life.
 

With session themes including leadership styles, mentorship, circle facilitation, games, and responsibility, Initiators equips aspiring young leaders with a reliable toolkit to create meaningful change in themselves and their communities.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• Understand the benefits of play and experiential learning

​

• Create a safe, inclusive, and fun atmosphere through games

​

• Learn and lead new games and activities with others

​

• Facilitate at least one game or experiential activity

​

• Recognize the scope of safety and responsibility as a mentor and leader

​

• Apply basic safety policies and best practices for youth experiences

​

• Practice and use the “bullseye” safety model
